For owned dogs/puppies 8 weeks and older whose owners are on government assistance:

• $50 for spay/neuter
• +$10 for rabies vaccine unless a current certificate is provided or puppy is younger than 4 months.

 

Additional Charges (May Apply)

• Cryptorchid inguinal fee: $65
• Cryptorchid abdominal fee: $130

 

Additional charges must be paid at pickup with cash or card.

 

We have funding for 80 K9 Snip It appointments in 2026.

Only 8 K9 Snip It appointments will be scheduled per RASCAL clinic.

Limit: 1 K9 Snip It appointment per household per clinic.

 

Government Assistance Documents Accepted

 

One of the following must be shown at sign-up:

• Section 8 Housing Voucher
• Ohio Medicaid Card
• Ohio Direction Card (SNAP / Food Stamps)
• Letter from Veterans Benefits Administration acknowledging service-related disability
• WIC card
• Benefit letter for Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• Benefit letter for Social Security Disability (SSDI)

 

Paperwork is REQUIRED at time of sign-up.
