Feline Fix It Fund – 2026


Stray Cats & Kittens

Highland County residents can fix stray cats/kittens (8 weeks & 2.5 lbs and up) for:

  • $30 per cat — includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, and mandatory ear tip
  • No income requirements.

Owned Cats (Male or Female)

Owners who are on government assistance are eligible:

  • $30 for spay/neuter
  • +$10 for rabies vaccine (unless a current rabies certificate is provided or kitten is under 3 months/3 lbs depending upon clinic scheduled on)

Male cats may have additional charges that may apply:

  • Cryptorchid inguinal fee: $35
  • Cryptorchid abdominal fee: $50


Scheduling Rules


Male Cats

RASCAL clinics only


Except June & November (no RASCAL clinics): male cats will be scheduled at OAR clinics.


Female Cats

OAR clinics ONLY


We have funding for 300 Feline Fix It Fund appointments in 2026.

• Only 5 female Feline Fix It appointments will be scheduled at each of our 40 OAR clinics

• Only 10 male Feline Fix It appointments will be scheduled at each of our 10 RASCAL clinics


Please plan accordingly.

Limit: 2 Feline Fix It appointments per household per clinic.


Government Assistance Documents Accepted

One of the following must be shown at sign-up:

  • Section 8 Housing Voucher
  • Ohio Medicaid Card
  • Ohio Direction Card (SNAP / Food Stamps)
  • Letter from Veterans Benefits Administration acknowledging service-related disability
  • WIC card
  • Benefit letter for Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Benefit letter for Social Security Disability (SSDI)
  • Paperwork is REQUIRED at time of sign-up along with a photo ID.

Sign-ups take place only when we are actively scheduling for clinics.
